Ross Bailes 12th in surprise visit to Volunteer Speedway for Spring Thaw

Competing in only the second day of the Spring Thaw, Ross Bailes joined the XR Super Series at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Sunday afternoon for the $12,000-to-win event.

Running second in his heat race, Bailes started the 40-lap feature from the third-row and faded to finish just outside the Top-10 in 12th.
