Bailes Tenth in The Tennessean at 411 Motor Speedway
Ross Bailes entered a lone event over the weekend with his Billy Hicks Racing No. 79 at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) with the Schaeffer's Spring Nationals Series for The Tennessean.
With 45 Late Models entered, Bailes laid down the second-fastest lap in qualifying before bolting to a heat race victory. For the $15,000-to-win A-Main, Bailes competed with the lead pack for much of the main event before slipping back to record a 10th-place finish in the 71-lap feature.
