Bailes dominates Rebel Yell at Screven for $10,053 payday

Ross Bailes returned with the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals on Saturday afternoon at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) piloting the Billy Hicks-owned No. 79 Late Model for the 22nd annual Rebel Yell. After outdueling fast qualifier Brent Dixon in his heat race to pick up the win, Bailes led wire-to-wire from the pole in the feature to record his fifth win of the season and second career Southern Nationals triumph.
