Ross Bailes
Runner-up Finish in Lidlifter at Lancaster Speedway
With several precautionary measures in place to bring the event to fruition during the Covid-19 pandemic, Ross Bailes returned behind the wheel of his Felony Farms No. 87 Late Model on Friday night at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.) for the Lancaster Lidlifter. In a field of 25 cars, Bailes topped the charts in time trials which positioned him on the pole for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. After leading the first three circuits, Ross faded back to a second place finish when the checkered flag flew, trailing Brandon Overton across the line with Jonathan Davenport, Michael Brown, and Jeff Smith rounding out the Top-5.
