July 31, 2021 - Fourth-place finish in Southern Nationals stop at Tazewell
1On Friday afternoon Ross Bailes was one of 34 Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals entries on hand at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) for the $10,053 prize. Improving three spots in his heat race to pick up the win, Ross locked into the pole for the A-Main. After pacing the field for the first 13 circuits, Bailes faded back to a seventh-place finish when the checkered flag flew.

July 24, 2021 - Bailes dominates Rebel Yell at Screven for $10,053 payday
1Ross Bailes returned with the Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals on Saturday afternoon at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) piloting the Billy Hicks-owned No. 79 Late Model for the 22nd annual Rebel Yell. After outdueling fast qualifier Brent Dixon in his heat race to pick up the win, Bailes led wire-to-wire from the pole in the feature to record his fifth win of the season and second career Southern Nationals triumph. July 18, 2021 - Ross Bailes passes 15 cars in Carolina Sizzer at Charlotte
1Trekking to Beckley Motorsports Park (Beckley, W.Va.) for the Schaffer’s Southern Nationals opener, Ross Bailes was one of 24 Late Models on hand on Friday afternoon for the $10,053-to-win A-Main. With a heat race victory placing him third on the starting grid for the opening night feature, Bailes overtook Jacob Hawkins for the lead on the seventh lap and led the next 17 circuits until Devin Moran snuck by. After a flat tire dropped him from third on a lap 38-caution, Ross rebounded from the tail to finish ninth.
 
1With Saturday’s Southern Nationals stopped at Wythe Raceway (Rural Retreat, W.Va.) rained out, Ross stopped at the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Sunday for the inaugural Carolina Sizzler. July 2, 2021 - Bailes finds luck in Ultimate SE action at Lavonia Speedway
1Making his lone start over the Fourth of July weekend, Ross Bailes ventured to Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) on Friday afternoon to return to the driver’s seat of the Billy Hicks-owned No. 79 Longhorn Chassis Late Model for the Max King Memorial. With the fastest lap in the 17-car field placing him on the pole for the A-Main, Bailes paced the field for the first 23 circuits until Payton Freeman snuck by on the 24th lap. Inheriting the lead on lap 32 when Freeman slowed with a flat tire, Ross raced to his fourth win of the season over Ethan Wilson, Cla Knight, Kenny Collins, and Nick Schlager. He pocketed $4,000 for his ninth career Ultimate triumph.
