September 29, 2018 - 2nd Place Finish with Bonus Series at Tri-County Racetrack
1On Friday evening Ross Bailes was one of 20 Schaeffer’s Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series entries signed in at Tri-County Racetrack (Brasstown, North Carolina) for the Tar Hell 50. Registering a 3rd place finish in his heat, Ross earned the 11th-startiing position for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Bailes gained nine spots in the 53-lapper to place 2nd behind Casey Roberts with Michael Brown, Kenny Collins, and Scott Bloomquist completing the Top-5 finishers.

The following night at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, South Carolina) competing in the Crate Late Model ranks, Bailes posted a 10th place finish in the feature.

September 22, 2018 - Ross Bailes Captures Fifth Win of the Season at Modoc
1 Ross Bailes invaded Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) on Saturday night powering the Felony Farms #87 entry for the Ultimate Southeast Series sanctioned Clarks Hill Classic. In a field of 21 cars, Bailes timed in second fastest overall in qualifying behind Joey Coulter positioning him on the pole for the A-Main. Leading flag-to-flag, Ross topped Coulter, Kyle Hardy, Zack Mitchell, and Dennis Franklin at the line claiming his fifth win of the season. September 2, 2018 - Bailes Bags a Pair of Podium Finishes Over Labor Day Weekend
1Returning with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, Ross Bailes was one of 23 Super Late Models on hand at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the $4,000 top prize. Timing in sixth fastest in qualifying, Bailes earned the 6th-starting position for the opening night feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Ross passed four cars in the 40-lapper to place 2nd behind Zack Mitchell with Jeff Smith, Michael Brown, and Jonathan Edwards completing the Top-5 finishers.

The following night at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for the Hall of Fame Race, Bailes registered the fastest time overall in a field of 24 cars positioning him on the pole for the feature. With $5,000 on the line, Ross led the first 18 circuits before dropping two spots in the remaining 22 laps notching a 3rd place finish behind Benji Hicks and Dennis Franklin with Jeff Smith and John Henderson Jr. rounding out the Top-5.
