May 27, 2018 - Ross Bailes Tops FASTRAK Field at 311 Motor Speedway
1Pulling double duty in the Super and Crate Late Model ranks, Ross Bailes invaded 311 Motor Speedway (Pine Hall, North Carolina) on Friday evening for the Bill Hicks Memorial. Drawing 24 ULTIMATE Southeast Series entries, Bailes timed in sixth fastest in his qualifying group before picking up an 8-lap heat race victory. Earning the 11th-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Ross held his spot for all 40-laps to place 11th.

1In the FASTRAK Racing Series division, Ross followed up the third fastest time in his group with a heat win. Swapping back-and-forth for the lead with Logan Roberson throughout the first 30 circuits of the feature, Bailes outran Roberson after a lap-36 caution registering his second win of the season and a $2,000 payday. Roberson, Benji Hicks, Matthew Nance, and Josh Henry completed the Top-5 finishers.

1After taking Saturday night, Bailes headed to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Sunday for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Mike Butler Memorial. In a field of 19 cars, Ross timed in sixth fastest in qualifying positioning him 6th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-5, Ross Bailes gained two spots reeling in a 4th place finish behind Chris Ferguson, Joey Coulter, and Johnny Pursley with Benji Hicks coming in 5th.

May 19, 2018 - Top 5 Finish in Mayhem 40 at Senoia Raceway
1After losing Friday’s ULTIMATE Southeast Series sanctioned contest at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) to bad weather, Ross Bailes headed to Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Saturday evening for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Mayhem 40. Timing in 5th fastest in a field of 25 Super Late Models, Bailes earned the 5th-starting position for the feature. With $4,000 on the line, Ross held his spot for all 40-laps to place 5th behind Michael Page, Shane Clanton, Aaron Ridley, and Ashton Winger.

May 12, 2018 - Bailes Attends First in Flight 100 at Fayetteville Motor Speedway
1Ross Bailes returned with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series on Friday night at Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for the two-day First in Flight 100 presented by Hoker Trucking. With 34 cars on hand, Ross locked his spot into the $25,001-to-win A-Main on Saturday night with the 4th and final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting in 14th, Bailes dropped two positions in the 100-lapper logging a 16th place outing.

May 5, 2018 - Pair of 6th Place Finishes With World of Outlaws; Podium Finish in Crate at Swainsboro
1Thursday night saw Ross Bailes in action at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Georgia) for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series sanctioned program. In a field of 28 cars, Ross timed in fifth fastest overall in qualifying before placing 4th in his heat race. Earning the 11th-starting position for the opening night feature, Bailes improved five spots reeling in a 6th place finish.

On Friday evening in a field of 30 cars at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina), Ross locked his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Johnny Pursley. Rolling off 4th, Bailes fell two positions in the 50-lap affair logging a 6th place finish.

1On Saturday night Bailes headed to Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Georgia) competing in the Crate Late Model division for the Pine Tree 100. Reeling in a podium finish in the 40-lap feature, Ross posted a 3rd place spot behind Jimmy Thomas and Trent Ivey with Chelsey Dixon and Joshua Bishop completing the Top-5 finishers.
