June 16, 2018 - Ross Bailes Sweeps Laurens Shrine Race at Laurens County
1 On Tuesday night Ross Bailes visited Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, South Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Laurens Shrine Race. Registering the fastest time overall in a field of 11 Super Late Models, Bailes earned the pole position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Leading from flag-to-flag, Ross Bailes topped Dennis Franklin, Joey Coulter, Brett Hamm, and Dustin Mitchell at the line in the 35-lapper to pick up his fourth win of the season. (Joey Grub photo)

1Saturday night found Ross Bailes pulling double duty at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) for the 42nd annual USA 100. In a field of 38 Ultimate Southeast Series entries, Bailes followed up the sixth fastest time in qualifying with a 4th place finish in his heat. Earning the 16th-starting position for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Ross improved eight spots in the 60-lapper reeling in a 6th place finish.

1During the same night in the Crate Late Model ranks, Ross secured his spot into the $3,000-to-win Fastrak Racing Series sanctioned feature with an 8-lap heat race win. Rolling off on the pole, Bailes dropped three spots in the 40-lap affair to place 4th behind Matt Long, Logan Roberson, and Brett Hamm with Billy Beachler coming in 5th.

June 9, 2018 - Bailes Victorious in Boom City June Jam at Fayetteville
1Saturday night found Ross Bailes in action at Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) piloting the Billy Hicks-owned #79 Super Late Model for the Ultimate Southeast Series sanctioned contest. With 22 cars on hand for the Boom City June Jam, Bailes laid down the second fastest time behind Kyle Hardy in his qualifying group positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. Overtaking Hardy on lap-11, Ross led the ensuing 29 circuits en route to his third win of the season and a $5,000 payday. Kyle Hardy, Dustin Mitchell, Zack Mitchell, and Justin Williams rounded out the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair. (ZSK Photography)
