April 28, 2018 - Runner-up Finish in Jack Starrette Memorial at Modoc
1Ross Bailes was one of 24 cars signed in at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Jack Starrette Memorial. Registering the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group, Bailes locked into the 8th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Ross gained six positions in the 50-lap affair to place 2nd behind Tyler Millwood with John Henderson Jr., Cla Knight, and Joey Coulter completing the Top-5 finishers. April 20, 2018 - Bailes Visits Carolina Speedway for Skyler Trull Memorial
1On Friday evening Ross Bailes traveled to Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned Skyler Trull Memorial. With 25 Super Late Models registered in for action, Bailes recorded the third fastest qualifying time before picking up a heat race victory. Earning the 4th-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Ross was running in 3rd when another car smashed into him after losing control on a rut. He withdrew from the event early while being credited with a 16th place outing.

April 14, 2018 - Ross Bailes Tops Fastrak Field at Virginia Motor Speedway
1Saturday night found Ross Bailes pulling double duty at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) for the annual Aaron’s King of the Commonwealth. In a stout field of 56 ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series entries, Bailes followed up the tenth fastest time in his qualifying group with the 3rd and final transfer spot in his heat race. Earning the 14th-starting position for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Ross suffered a broken rocker arm on the opening lap ending his night immediately.

1In the Crate Late Model ranks for the FASTRAK Racing Series sanctioned program, Ross landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Logan Roberson positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the main event. Wheeling his way into the lead by the halfway point of the feature, Bailes held off the Roberson late to capture his first win of the season and a $3,000 payday. Roberson, Matt Long, Matthew Nance, and Corey Almond completed the Top-5 finishers in the 40-lap affair.
