October 28th, 2017 - Ross Bailes Bags Top 10 Finish in Fall Classic at Whynot
1Kicking off the 23rd annual Coors Light Fall Classic, Ross Bailes made the trek to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday evening for the unsanctioned weekend. In a field of 42 cars, Bailes laid down the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group before capturing a heat race victory. Earning the 4th-starting position for the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night, Ross dropped four spots in the 100-lap affair registering a 8th place finish. (Blake Hagan photo)

October 21st, 2017 - Runner-up Finish at Modoc Raceway
1Saturday night brought Ross Bailes to Modoc Raceway (Modoc, South Carolina) for the ULTIMATE Southeast Series sanctioned program. With 23 Super Late Models on hand for the Clark’s Hill Classic, Ross timed in fourth fastest in qualifying earning him the 4th-starting spot for the feature. With $4,000 on the line, Bailes improved two positions posting a runner up finish behind Brett Hamm with Brent Dixon, Tyler Millwood, and Casey Roberts completing the Top 5 finishers. October 14th, 2017 - Bailes Visits Carolina Speedway for King of the Carolinas
1Returning with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series, Ross Bailes visited Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) on Saturday evening for the WIX Filters King of the Carolinas. In a field of 21 Super Late Models, Bailes laid down the fifth fastest time in qualifying positioning him on the third row for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. October 6th, 2017 - Runner-up Finish in BWRC House Car at 311
1Friday evening saw Ross Bailes in action at 311 Motor Speedway (Pine Hall, North Carolina) for the ULTIMATE Southeast Series sanctioned opener. With 20 Super Late Models signed in for the $4,000 top prize, Bailes laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying positioning him on the pole for the main event. After leading the first 38 circuits, Ross surrendered the top spot to Jonathan Davenport late to place 2nd behind Davenport with Kyle Hardy, Tyler Millwood, and Dennis Franklin rounding out the Top 5.

Mother Nature wiped out Saturday’s ULTIMATE sanctioned event at Dublin Motor Speedway (Dublin, North Carolina).

October 1st, 2017 - Bailes Attends Pair of LOLMDS Events in Georgia
1Ross Bailes traveled to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Georgia) on Saturday night powering the Barry Wright house car for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned program. In a field of 41 cars, Ross locked his spot into the opening night $12,000-to-win feature with a 3rd place finish in his 10-lap heat. Starting in 12th, Bailes dropped three spots in the 60-lapper registering a 15th place outing.

The following night brought 41 LOLMDS competitors to Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) for the Rome Showdown. Slipping back to a 8th place finish in his heat, Ross transferred into the B-Main for another shot at the A-Main. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Bailes logged a 6th place finish ending his night early.
