March 25th, 2017 - Bailes Attends Spring Nationals Event at Senoia Raceway
1 Running in the second night of the Schaeffer Oil Spring Nationals sanctioned weekend, Ross Bailes invaded Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Georgia) on Friday night for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Needing to place 4th or better in his heat race to make the $6,000-to-win A-Main, Ross slipped back to a 7th place outing in his preliminary event.

March 11th, 2017 - Ross Bailes Wins SAS Sanctioned March Madness at Cherokee

On Saturday evening Ross Bailes made the trip to Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series season-opener. With 23 cars signed in for the annual Skyler Trull Memorial, Bailes registered the fourth fastest time in qualifying putting him 4th on the starting rundown for the 40-lap feature. With $5,000 on the line, Ross suffered radiator problems on the lap 34 while running in 2nd forcing him to pull off.

March 5th, 2017 - Ross Bailes Wins SAS Sanctioned March Madness at Cherokee
1 Aboard the Billy Hicks-owned #79 Longhorn Chassis Super Late Model, Ross Bailes traveled to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Sunday for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned program. Drawing 38 cars, Bailes followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group with a heat race victory. Earning the 3rd-starting spot for the $10,000-to-win March Madness A-Main, Ross waited patiently in the beginning laps of the feature to work his way to the front. Making his move near the halfway-point of the 60-lapper, Bailes jumped into the lead on lap-34. Holding off the field after a late-race caution, Ross Bailes picked up his first victory of the season and the richest of his career.
