June 13th, 2017 - Ross Bailes Bags Podium Finish in Shrine Race at Laurens County Speedway
1Behind the wheel of the Kenny Lamb Racing Engines #87 Super Late Model, Ross Bailes visited Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, South Carolina) on Tuesday night for the 36th annual Shrine Race. With 18 cars on hand for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned contest, Bailes timed in third quickest in qualifying locking him into the 3rd-starting spot for the A-Main. With $4,000 on the line, Ross held his spot for the entire distance of the 35-lapper posting a 3rd place finish behind Zach Mitchell and Jeff Smith with Dennis Franklin and Johnny Pursley completing the Top 5 finishers.

June 3rd, 2017 - Bailes Visits Virginia Motor Speedway for USA 100
1Ross Bailes was pulling double duty on Saturday night at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Virginia) piloting the Billy Hicks-owned Super in the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series event along with the Hicks-owned Crate in the FASTRAK Racing Series sanctioned program. In a field of 23 Super Late Models, Ross timed in third fastest in his group before registering a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Scott Bloomquist. Earning the 4th-starting spot for the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Ross got sideways in the opening laps sending him to the tail. Battling back from the rear of the field, Bailes wheeled his way up to a 12th place outing.

1In the Crate Late Model ranks, Ross followed up the 5th fastest time in his qualifying group with a 4th place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 11th for the $3,000-to-win A-Main, Bailes charged through the field early, challenging for a podium spot by lap 5. After crossing the finish line in first, Ross came in light at the scales dropping him back to a 21st place outing.
