August 26th, 2017 - Bailes Records a Pair of Wins in Billy Hicks-Owned #79
1Returning behind the wheel of the Billy Hicks-owned #79 Super Late Model, Ross Bailes invaded Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, South Carolina) on Friday night for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. With 15 cars on hand for the Ronnie Brookshire Memorial, Bailes laid down the fastest time overall in qualifying locking him on the pole for the 40-lap A-Main. Leading from flag-to-fag, Ross Bailes cruised to his fourth win of the season over Dennis Franklin, Zack Mitchell, Brent Dixon, and Tyler Millwood. 1The following night Bailes was one of 22 Super Late Models signed in at Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned program. Timing in fastest overall in qualifying, Ross earned the pole position for the Back to School Bash A-Main. Retaking the lead on the lap 30, Ross Bailes held off Chris Ferguson in the final 10 circuits to capture his fifth win of the season and a $4,000 paycheck. Chris Ferguson, Zack Mitchell, Tim Allen, and Ben Watkins completed the Top 5 finishers.

August 20th, 2017 - Bailes Scores a Pair of Runner-up Finishes With Ultimate Series
1Debuting in the Barry Wright Race Cars house car, Ross Bailes visited Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee) on Thursday evening for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. Following the fastest time overall in his group, Ross charged to a 10-lap heat race victory positioning him 4th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Passing two cars in the 50-lap affair, Ross Bailes posted a 2nd place finish behind Dale McDowell with Vic Hill, Casey Roberts, and Dennis Franklin completing the Top 5 finishers. 1Following the ULTIMATE Series on Friday night, Ross headed to Crossville Speedway (Crossville, Tennessee) for the $4,000 top prize. Timing in ninth fastest overall in a field of 20 cars, Bailes earned the 9th-starting position for the feature. Wheeling his way into a podium spot, Ross streaked through the field seven positions to place 2nd behind Joey Coulter with Billy Ogle Jr., Brandon Overton, and Jadon Frame rounding out the Top 5.

1On Saturday night Ross made the trip to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) for the Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Bonus Series sanctioned program. Following a 5th place finish in his heat race, Bailes captured a 10-lap consolation victory locking his spot into the feature. 1Wrapping up the four day weekend, Bailes stopped at Rome Speedway (Rome, Georgia) on Sunday competing in a field of 33 Bonus Series entries. Posting a 2nd place finish in his heat behind Shanon Buckingham, Ross earned the 11th-starting position for the $5,300-to-win A-Main. Passing four cars in the 53-lapper, Bailes posted a 7th place finish.

August 9th, 2017 - Top 5 Finish in Shrine 100 at Gastonia
1 On Wednesday night Ross Bailes was back with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) for the 45th annual Gaston County Shrine 100. Timing in third fastest in a field of 13 cars, Bailes earned the 3rd-starting position for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Losing one spot in the 35-lapper, Ross notched a 4th place finish behind Michael Brown, Zack Mitchell, and Ben Watkins with Jonathan Edwards coming in 5th.

August 5th, 2017 - Ross Bailes Bags Third Win of the Season at Cherokee
1Behind the wheel of the Felony Farms #87 Super Late Model, Ross Bailes invaded Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) on Saturday night for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. Drawing 19 cars for the annual Stick Elliott Memorial, Bailes timed in third fastest overall positioning him 3rd on the starting grid for the feature. Overtaking race-leader Johnny Pursley on lap 19, Ross held off the field in the remaining 21 circuits to pick up his third win of the season and a $5,000 payday.
