April 1st, 2017 - Ross Bailes Wins SECA A-Main at Friendship Motor Speedway
1Ross Bailes visited Friendship Motor Speedway (Elkin, North Carolina) on Saturday night competing in both his Super and Crate Late Model. In a field of 17 Super Late Models for the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned show, Bailes started the night off with a heat race victory locking him into the 5th-starting position for the A-Main. With $3,000 on the line, Ross improved two positions in the 40-lapper to place 3rd behind Zach Mitchell and Anthony Sanders with Michael Brown and Josh Langley completing the Top 5 finishers.

1With 16 Crate Late Models signed in for the South Eastern Crate Association (SECA) A-Main, Ross wheeled his Billy Hicks-owned #79 machine to a 25-lap victory over Justin Hudspeth, Steve Blackburn, Cole Apple, and Teddy Musgrave. This win marks Bailes’ first win of the season in the Crate division and second overall.
