March 29th, 2015 - Tough Weekend for Ross Bailes
Ross Bailes made the trip to Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) on Saturday night for a $5,000-to-win, Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event.

Twenty-six entries registered for battle, and struggles in preliminary action positioned Bailes starting on the 24th in the 40-lap main event. Ross advanced a few positions early on before ultimately retiring to a nineteenth place finish in the final rundown.

Action shifted to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) as Ross went into battle against a field of twenty-seven entries during the annual March Madness. The Southern All Star (SAS) Racing Series sanctioned the $7,500-to-win program, and Bailes posted the third fastest lap in his group during time trials.

Hi qualifying efforts positioned him starting sixth on the grid for the 60-lap finale. Unfortunately, a melee entering turn-one on a lap 16 restart left Bailes' #5 Baird Transport entry with heavy damage, ending his night early.

March 21st, 2015 - Ross Bailes Lands Top Five Finish in Skyler Trull Memorial
After a few weeks away from the track courtesy of Mother Nature, Ross Bailes resumed competition on Saturday night with a Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina).

The 15th Annual Skyler Trull Memorial, which boosted a $5,000 top prize, drew twenty-two competitors to the 4/10-mile oval. Ross posted the second fastest lap in time trails to lock into the second starting spot for the 50-lap finale, alongside polesitter, Chris Ferguson. Bailes raced at the front of the pack for much of the feature, and despite a tangle with a lapped car in the closing laps, held on for a fourth place finish behind race winner, Chris Ferguson, Ben Watkin, and Chris Madden. Doug Sanders rounded out the top five finishers.
