October 25th, 2014 - Ross Bailes Notches Top Five in Pursley Memorial
Friday evening found Ross competing in the annual Robert Pursley Memorial at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina), which served a preliminary program for the 24th Annual Blue/Gray 100.

Twenty-two Super Late Models signed in for the $7,000-to-win race, which was sanctioned by the Southern Nationals Bonus Series. Ross timed in second in his group during qualifications, earning him a spot in the evenings Dash for Cash. He raced to a third place finish in the dash, locking him into the third starting spot for the 40 lap feature. In the main event, Bailes settled to a fifth place finish in the final rundown behind race winner, Chris Ferguson, Steve Francis, Casey Roberts and Scott Bloomquist.

The $10,000-to-win, Blue/Gray 100 finale was contest on Saturday evening as twenty-five entries registered for the event. Bailes started his night by timing in ninth overall during qualifications before racing to a fourth place finish in his heat race. As a result he would roll off from the twelfth position on the feature grid. During the course of the 100 lap main event, Ross battled around the top ten and would ultimately cross the finish line in the tenth position.

October 18th, 2014 - Bailes Competes in King of Carolina Event
On Friday night Ross Bailes opened competition in the King of the Carolinas with his #75 Mastersbilt Crate Late Model at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) in the $3,000-to-win, SECA program.

Thirty-five entries registered for battle, and after qualifying fastest in time trials Bailes locked into the pole position for the feature with Dilon Brown alongside. During the course of the feature Bailes battled for the lead before settling for a second place finish behind race winner, Dennis Franklin. Jeff Smith, Timbo Mangum and Brown rounded out the top five finishers.

Saturday evening found Ross taking #87 Bailes Construction/Mastersbilt Super Late Model into battle in the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series sanctioned event. Twenty-four entries were on hand for the race, and via preliminary action Bailes earned the third starting spot for the $5,000-to-win finale. The feature saw Ross battle amongst the top five throughout the 40 lap affair before crossing the finish line in third behind race winner, Casey Roberts and Chris Ferguson. Dennis Franklin and Kenny Compton Jr. rounded out the top five finishers.

October 11th, 2014 - Bad Luck for Ross Bailes at Talladega Short Track
Ross Bailes made the long haul to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) over the weekend for the Dega 100, which was sanctioned by the Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series.

Ross qualified third overall in his #75 John/Wesley Page owned Mastersbilt entry to lock into the $6,000-to-win main event. Bailes was running third in the finale until disaster struck on a lap thirty-five restart. As the field was set to go back green, Ross was collected in a melee when the car in front of him suddenly lost power. With nowhere to go, Bailes was left with right-front suspension damage and forced to retire to a 22nd place finish.

October 4th, 2014 - Ross Bailes Scores Podium Finish at Fayetteville
On Saturday night Ross went into battle in his #87 Bailes Construction/Mastersbilt Super Late Model at Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) in a Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series event.

He started his night by qualifying sixth fastest overall amongst the twenty-three entries to lock into the sixth starting spot for the main event. Bailes had made his way into the top five by lap ten of the 40 lapper, and went on to register a solid third place finish behind race winner, Luke Roffers and Dennis Franklin. Completing the top five were Kyle Pierce and Kennie Compton Jr.
