July 26th, 2014 - Ross Bailes Snares a Pair of Top Five in FUEL Doubleheader
Ross Bailes set out to enter a doubleheader of racing action over the weekend with the Fast Unified Engine Late Models (FUEL) tour.

A $3,000-to-win program was contested at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) on Friday night. Ross qualified second overall during time trials among thirteen entries, and went on to win his heat race. As a result he would outside the front row alongside Brett Hamm in the main event. During the course of the feature Bailes slipped to a third place finish behind race winner, Hamm, and Donald Bradsher. Gib Gibbons and Steve Banal rounded out the top five finishers.

On Saturday night action shifted to Fayetteville Motor Speedway (Fayetteville, North Carolina) for another $3,000-to-win program. Ross locked into the main event via preliminary action, and ran second for much of the 40 lapper. On a lap 23 Bailes slipped back to fifth, before recovering to a fourth place finish in the final rundown behind race winner, Brett Hamm, Donald Bradsher, and Gib Gibbons. Mitchell Coble completed the remainder of the top five.

July 19th, 2014 - Bailes Doubles Up in SECA Crate Late Model Action at Friendship

Ross topped the speed charts during qualifications to lock into the pole position for the main event. He went on to increase his 2014 win tally to fourteen with a victory over Jonathan Davenport, Chris Meadows, Benji Hicks, and Ron Parker.

Much like his earlier performance, Bailes once again timed in first overall to earn the pole for the feature. In the finale he raced his way to Victory Lane to sweep the evenings activities. Jonathan Davenport, Ron Parker, Chris Meadows, and Chris Cheek completed the top five finishers.

July 12th, 2014 - Bailes Competes in FUEL Event at Cherokee Speedway
Saturday night took the team to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, South Carolina) for a $3,000-to-win Fast Unified Engine Late Models (FUEL) Series event. A modest thirteen entries were on hand for the program, and after qualifying second fastest overall during time trials Ross went on to win his heat race. In the feature Bailes battle at the front of the pack throughout the event before crossing the finish line in third behind race winner, Brett Hamm, and Ricky Weeks. July 5th, 2014 - Ross Bailes Back in FUEL Victory Lane at Friendship
After Thursday night's program at Cherokee Speedway fell victim to Mother Nature, the Ross Bailes Racing team traveled to Friendship Motor Speedway (Elkin, North Carolina) on Saturday night to pull double duty.

Ross piloted the #75 John/Wesley Page owned Mastersbilt CT525 entry in the Fast Unified Engine Late Model (FUEL) Series event at the oval. Bailes topped the qualifying charts with a 16.133 seconds lap among the fourteen entries, and went on to win his heat race to lock into the fourth starting spot for the $3,000-to-win finale. Ross jumped to the race lead early and race to his third series victory of the season over Steve Banal, Billy Hicks, Donald Bradsher, and Brett Hamm.
