July 27th, 2013 - Ross Bailes Retires Early at Modoc
1 The Jack Starrette Memorial was the destination for Ross Bailes on Saturday night in his #87 Bailes Construction/Mastersbilt Super Late Model as he participated in the $4,022-to-win event with the Ultimate Super Late Model Series.

With 23 entries on hand Bailes raced into the main event, but on a very rough track he would make the decision to retire early to save his equipment. He was credited with a 19th place finish.

July 20th, 2013 - Ross Bailes Finishes Third at Carolina Speedway
1 On Friday night Ross went into battle in the #75 Mastersbilt Crate Late Model at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) in the NDRA Weekly Racing Series Event.

After qualifying 5th fastest Ross finished 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 5th starting spot for the feature. He battled in the top ten throughout the event before ultimately recording a 7th place finish. Full results from the event are available at www.CarolinaSpeedway.net.

He rounded out his weekend on Saturday night at I-77 Speedway, where he raced to a 4th place finish in the Crate Late Model feature. Full results from the event are available at www.I77SpeedwayRacing.com.

July 13th, 2013 - Bailes Competes at Carolina Speeday
1Saturday night took the team to 311 Motor Speedway (Pine Hall, North Carolina) for a $4,000-to-win, Carolina Clash Super Late Model event. Twenty-seven Super Late Models entered the event, and via preliminary action Ross earned the 12th starting spot for the 40 lap finale. Despite seeing rain showers that arrived just before the feature delay the program, the feature was finally contested and Bailes advanced nine spots in the feature to a third place finish behind race winner, Kenny Compton Jr., and Dustin Mitchell.
