August 24th, 2013 - Ross Bailes Battles Mechanical Woes in Clash Action
1 Mother Nature finally allowed Ross Bailes to return to action in his #87 Bailes Construction Mastersbilt on Saturday evening with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, South Carolina).

It would prove to be a rough night for the Clover, South Carolina competitor as issues in time trials and b-main action forced him to utilize a series' provisional to start the main event in the 25th position. With a still ailing entry Bailes retired early in the feature and was credited with a 25th place finish.

August 14th, 2013 - Ross Bailes Scores Podium in Carolina Clash Action
1 After seeing the event delayed a day by rain Ross piloted his #87 Bailes Construction Mastersbilt on Wednesday evening at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) in the 41st Annual Shrine 100, which was sanctioned by the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series.

With twenty-one entries in the pits Bailes qualified 5th fastest in time trials to lock into the 5th starting spot for the finale. Unfortunately mechanical woes would plague him, which forced Bailes to retire to a 16th place finish.

In the Crate Late Model division Ross stared his night by qualifying fastest in the field to earn the pole for the feature, but his luck in the feature would again go sour as his night was brought to an early end with a lap one melee.

August 10th, 2013 - Ross Bailes Scores Runner Up Finish at I-77 Special
1The $2,500-to-win, Tommy Mungo Memorial was held at I-77 Speedway (Chester, South Carolina) on Saturday night as Ross Bailes chased the top prize in his #75 John/Wesley Page owned Mastersbilt Crate Late Model.

Ross started his night by setting fast time around the oval to earn the pole of the feature feature. He would go on to battle for the lead for much of the event before settling into a 2nd place finish behind race winner, Brett Hamm.

August 3rd, 2013 - Ross Bailes Bags 11th Win of 2013; Tenth in Clash Action
1It was a doubleheader weekend of racing competition for Ross Bailes that opened on Friday night at Carolina Speedway (Gastonia, North Carolina) with a Carolina Workwear NDRA Late Model event at the clay oval. Ross started the night by winning his heat race in his #75 John Page Racing entry to earn the 2nd starting spot for the feature alongside Greg Barker. (Randy Houser Photo)

As the feature went green Bailes quickly shot to the lead and never looked back on his way to the victory, which came over Daniel Tucker, Steve Banal, Greg Barker, and Adam Yarborough. Saturday evening found Bailes back behind the wheel of his familiar #b4 Bailes Construction/Mastersbilt Super Late Model at the famed Cherokee Speedway 1(Gaffney, South Carolina) in the 29th Annual Stick Elliott Memorial, which was sanctioned by the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series.

The night started on a sour note as an oil line failure put the team behind the eight ball, but they would be able to get it fixed in time for qualifying. Bailes would go on to race his way into the main event before registering a 10th place finish in the eighteen car field in the main event.
